doula team
My heart has always been to walk alongside families with steady support, creative storytelling, and evidence-based care. Over the years, I’ve realized one person can only hold so many families, and that’s why I’ve built a team. Here, you’ll meet doulas who share the same family-centered approach that has shaped my work for more than eight years. Each team member receives mentorship, ongoing training, and referrals through me, so when you choose someone from my team, you can expect the same warmth, professionalism, and dependable care that my clients have always known me for.
Jessica Little
Hi there, I am Jessica Little. I am married, have 2 kids (12 & almost 9), and we live and work on our family farm in Denver, NC. I have been a doula for about 6 years. I first trained in 2011 but took some time for my family from 2013-2023 when I decided to re-train and certify with CAPPA. I missed supporting families through their pregnancy and birth experience, and I’m so happy to be back doing what I know I was meant to do. Hence my business name “The Happy Little Doula”. I hope to bring confidence and calmness into your birthing space. I have a special place in my heart for supporting C-section births, VBACs, plus-size mothers, and sibling births.
Birth center/home: $1575.00

Brooke Hickman
No matter how many babies you have, every time that child is placed on your chest, a mother is born. It’s a transformative process and being invited into a birth space is something I never take lightly and am so grateful for. I’ve been a doula since 2017, when I trained with Birth Arts International.
My name is Brooke and I'm a wife & mother of two. I'm an Ohio native (Go Bucks!), but have called NC home for over 20 years. With a background in Exercise Science (including cardiac rehab and chronic disease management), and also experience in full-time ministry, I’ve learned to meet people where they’re at, and the amazing things our bodies are capable of! I believe in the power of the WHOLE person - mind, body, and spirit.
I’m happy to add prenatal personal training to my doula practice, as well as birth photography, placenta encapsulation, and other wellness services.
It would be my honor and privilege to serve you in this important season of life.
Sarina Abraham
Hi! I’m Sarina ~ a full spectrum Doula rooted in community, compassion, and deep trust in the birthing process.
Each family I have the honor to work with is so deeply unique, bringing their story, their values, and their innate wisdom. My role is not to direct, but to walk alongside you—offering a grounded presence through, both, moments of clarity and uncertainty.
One thought I return to often: the mystery and magic of birth lies within the unknown. It’s within that unknown that transformation takes root. The greatest growth often comes not from having all the answers, but from learning to surrender as you meet each moment.
I am here to hold space for that journey—with warmth, wisdom, and unwavering, evidence-based support.
Hello, my name is Sarah Herbein! My two children were born 8 and 5 weeks early, and moving through those experiences showed me the importance of community, connection, and education during the postpartum period. I am passionate about exploring the intersection of traditional and modern approaches, and I aim to care for people as an integrated whole.
I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking, playing Zelda games, and knitting (or whatever my latest craft obsession is). My comfort movie is The Empire Strikes Back, and if I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, it would be the Mountain Goats
Hello! My name is Savannah Wright. I am a certified labor doula, and I am passionate about walking alongside families during one of life’s most meaningful moments—childbirth. My goal is to educate with evidence-based information, serve with compassion, and create a calm, positive environment so you can focus on welcoming your baby with strength and peace. Along with my certification as a labor doula, I am also a certified postpartum doula and a certified lactation support educator.
Experience: In my journey as a doula, so far I have supported three moms from their very first positive pregnancy test continually into postpartum, and I have worked with multiple other clients providing lactation guidance and postpartum care.
Pricing: Every family’s needs are unique, and my support is designed to reflect that. Pricing varies based on the services you choose—whether you’re looking for labor support, prenatal visits, postpartum care, lactation support, or a full package. Please reach out for a personalized quote, and together we can create a plan that best fits your family.
Hello! My name is Baylee Sigmon. I live in Taylorsville, NC with my husband and our two kiddos (4 &1). I have just started my doula journey but I have had a passion for all things pregnancy/birth since I had our first baby! I truly believe bringing new life into this world is a miracle and such a beautiful honor. My goal is to provide emotional and physical support along with evidence-based findings to help you feel confident and empowered! Whatever your birth goals may look like, I will be there through each step to support you in working towards that goal. It would be a joy to work alongside you on your journey!
Hi, I’m Megan! I am a mother of two beautiful children and wife to my husband of eight years. I fell in love with the birth community many years ago when I chose to do a high school project on the career of Midwifery. It opened my eyes to what the female body can do and that interest has increased since. Fast forward several years, and when life’s path took a turn, I was lucky enough to find myself at home with my babies. While being a wife and mother are my greatest pride and joy, doors soon began opening that allowed me to come back to the birthing community that I have such a passion for.
Even though I am just starting on my own journey as a professional in the birth community, I aim to provide the steady and supportive presence to other moms that I found so grounding during the birth of my own children. I hope to show other birthing parents that the most vulnerable moments can also be the most empowering, creating a birthing experience that is unique to each mother and child. I look forward to creating lasting relationships with expectant parents and watching others fall in love with the birthing process, just as I have.
